Muse are scheduled to be playing the first show of the 28th series on Friday 3 November, BBC 2 11:35 pm.
Muse have won 2 out of the 2 awards of which they were nominated for at the UK festival awards 2006 taken place at the Carling Academy, in Islington London on Thursday 19th October.
The nominees were:
Best Headline Act: Coldplay (Isle of Wight), Daft Punk (Global Gathering), Depeche Mode (O2 Wireless), The Levellers (Beautiful Days), Metallica (Download), Muse (Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds), Pearl Jam (Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds), Prodigy (Creamfields, Isle of Wight), Radiohead (V Festival), Red Hot Chili Peppers (T in the Park) .
Carling Best Rock Act: Muse, Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian, Pearl Jam, Razorlight, Kaiser Chiefs, Metallica, The Kooks, Radiohead, Foo Fighters.
It is now official. The English band Razorlight will support Muse for their's Paris, Nantes, Lille and Antwerp shows.
The band "Poet in Process" will support Muse on the upcoming European tour from 24th October to 31st October. (Bilbao, Lisbao, Madrid, Barcelona, Toulouse, Bordeaux)

Muse have been nominated for three Q awards : Best Live Act, Best Album and Best Act In The World Today. The winners will be announced on October 30th at The Grosvenor House Hotel in London.

Muse won the Best Live Act award tonight at the first Vodaphone Music Awards. As the band is currently recording in studio, My Chemical Romance collected the prize on Muse's behalf.

The Noisettes will support Muse on the upcoming European tour from november 3rd to december 13th.
Muse recently won Best Rock Artist at the BT Digital Music Awards. Taken place on October 3rd at the Camden's legendary Roundhouse, where Edith Bowman and hosted and announced the winners. The band were not able to appear there in person, due to touring duties.
The other shortlisted finalists were: Editors, Kasabian, Mystery Jets and Hard-Fi.
Muse have been nominated for 2 awards on the back on their summer festival run in the UK Festival Awards 2006. Best rock act and best headline act.
This year for the first time, the annual public vote will culminate in the UK's first ever live festival awards ceremony taking place in the Carling Academy, in Islington London on Thursday 19th October complete with live performances to be announced soon.
