Muse's album Origin Of Symmetry hit US stores yesterday, Tuesday the 20th. It was previously only available internationally and will be in US stores for the first time, so head over to your local shop and pick up a copy.

The band is nominated at the Q awards 2005 in the "Best live act" and "Best Act In The World Today" categories. The awards will be presented by Jonathan Ross and will take place on Monday October 10 at The Grosvenor House Hotel on London’s Park Lane. The winners of each award will be voted for by Q readers and visitors to the magazine's website.

Muse has been nominated twice for the mtvU Woodie Awards including for Road Woodie and International/Study Abroad Woodie. The winners are determined by the fans! live 8 dvd The 4-DVD set of the Live 8 performances will be released on November, 7th (8th for the US). Besides all the concerts of London and Philadelphia, it will contain clips from the other shows, including from Muse's performance in Paris ("Stockholm Syndrome").

The DVDs are also available separately, edited by country. The french version (Paris) will contain the songs "Hysteria", "Bliss" and "Plug in baby".

Money raised from sales of the Live 8 DVD will go to the Band Aid Trust for the relief of hunger and poverty in Africa.
