"Hello. Hope all is well out there. Edmonton is cold and ever so slightly beserk. It has the biggest mall in the world offerering submarine rides and a gun range and a venue called reds where the band are performing tonight. Anyone that wants to come along can go up to the pool hall and climb under a curtain protected by some wooden chairs. Loose old affair. Things are going well. Well, pretty well. Chris split his finger open in the first song yesterday and is playing with a pick tonight for the first time since January 1995 - he claims. So that's good. You can see it for yourself on the site, theres a few photos up. No bonus points go to those that spot when i managed to get a new camera and stopped using my phone. My other one broke. The band are playing some new material. Ask Des. Cheers, Tom."

The String Quartet Tribute to Muse " Since 1997, Muse has demonstrated to anyone who has given them a chance that they are a force to be reckoned with, and with their hard-rocking, prog-leaning, paint-blistering, classically-influenced sound, they have successfully established themselves in many hearts as one of the best rock bands today. With Matthew Bellamy’s powerful, multi-octave vocals, crunching guitar riffs and virtuosic keyboard skills, Chris Wolstenholme’s monster basslines, and Dominic Howard’s thundering drums churning out a bombastic mix that incorporates influences as far-ranging as metal, show tunes, punk, and art-rock, they leave no question of their unique vision and talent."

The String Quartet Tribute to Muse is a fitting homage to a wildly creative band. The Tallywood Strings willingly give themselves over to the hysteria of Muse’s over-the-top songs and commit completely to the task of transforming them into compelling and fresh string reinterpretations. You may not have been expecting this album, but once you plug in to it, you’ll wonder how you did without it. Go ahead- your time is running out. Micah J Hunt - Label site
