In september muse will release their 4th and last single from their album 'Absolution', named 'Butterflies and hurricanes'. This single will be available in different versions and the b-sides will contain special features for the Muse-fans.

[...] The disappointing thing was that the band only had a 30 minute time slot to play and it certainly went by fast. Short of The Cure, Muse was easily the best act of the festival.

On Monday August 30th Muse's album Absolution is getting some special treatment. The album is being re-released exclusively for the Australian market to coincide with their sold out national tour. The re-release will feature a bonus 6 track live disc recorded by Triple J radio station down here in Australia. You can pre-order your copy here.

The Brisbane show on Saturday, September 11 sold out in under an hour and a second show has now been announced for the 12th.

Tickets to the Mellbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth and both Brisbane gigs are sold out.

Warner Records will officially release the single "Hysteria" to radio stations in the Alternative radio format (in the US) on Tuesday, August 17th.

TasteMedia are intending to release a track from the Glastonbury set as a download single with Oxfam's download site 'Big Noise Music'. All revenues generated from this track will be going to charity so obviously they hope to get as many sales as possible.

We just receive the definite confirmation that MUSE won't cancel their appearance at Openair festival. Despite the death in the family of Drummer Dominic Howard, their show in St.Gallen is still planned on Friday evening. The gig at the Werchter Festival this saturday is not cancelled as well.

The new list features in today's Independent newspaper, and sets out to list not only all the artists considered to be the most powerful in the music scene, but also the company heads behind the hits.
