Description: All the props, models, suits etc were taken to Spain from London and set up as you see in the middle of nowhere, but just around the corner was a bombing range for the Spanish air-force who were using it that very morning, plumes of smoke visible in the distance accompanied by the eerie sounds of muffled explosions - it felt like the end of the world, a macabre backdrop to our picture. Storm Thorgerson finished two different versions that you see here, though Muse preferred version two and decided to add more "Martian" redness on the published cover.
