Muse a remporté l'award du "meilleur groupe alternatif" et celui du "meilleur groupe irlandais/anglais" ce soir aux Mtv music Awards à Rome. Björk, Franz Ferdinand, Prodigy et the Hives étaient également nommés dans la catégorie "meilleur groupe/artiste alternatif". Franz Ferdinand, Natasha Bedingfield, Jamelia, The Streets étaient nommés dans la catégorie "meilleur groupe/artiste anglais".
